Massachusetts law prohibits sellers
agents from referring specific
home inspectors or a specific home inspection company. Sellers agents
can, however, provide clients with a complete list of home inspectors
prepared by the Board
of Registration of Home Inspectors. However,
this prohibition does not apply if the agent is serving as a buyer's
